This is a picture of me, at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The vines growing up the trellises are grapes the are used to make the famous Biltmore Wines.
This is for Shadow Shot Sunday, a cool idea for a meme that has folks posting photos of shadows, and then linking back to Hey Harriet’s blog so everyone can visit each others pictures. (And leave comments – the blogger’s crack.)

Nice shot! Pretty walkway. I love Biltmore…so much beauty!!
Beautiful shot. I would love to slowly walk through there and enjoy every minute.
This looks very sumptuous and warm. Can I come there and walk the shadow grid. It’s a tad chilly here in Victoria, BC!
I love the Asheville area, and spend a couple of weeks there each year! Great photo, thanks!
I always thought Ashville was a beautiful place..
What a wonderful picture you got..Looks so beautiful..Happy SSS..
I love all the different textures in this. The sun through the pergola made for some wonderful shadows.
Lovely image.
It looks like an enjoyable place to take a stroll. Thanks for sharing.
great shadows… I like your header too, very funny!
Biltmore is a beautiful place – love the shot of the vines and trellis.
There is always something so satisfying about shadow squares…
Lovely shadows in this one! I’d love to take a stroll along that pathway. Very pretty!
Just beautiful. I’ve always wanted to go there.
I love your pictures; we went to the Smoky Mountains a couple of years ago and had the best time. We stayed on the NC side.
I love your blog…I have an award for you over on my blog!
