A photo I snapped this past October of one of my sons and my adorable granddaughter, Freya. They were sitting on the curb and I thought the bright red wall behind them made a good background.
I like how both of their heads are bent to the side, and Freya’s shirt matches her Daddy’s leather jacket. They also have matching eyes.
This week’s photo challenge on I Heart Faces is “Red.” It is a way to celebrate Valentine’s week in a bright, vibrant, fun way while also spreading the word about a fantastic cause… Go Red for Women.
Cardiovascular disease claimed the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year, yet women were not paying attention. Go Red For Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to save more lives.
Find out how you can help or give to this cause here.
